Decent is Beautiful

What I think is so magnificent about the Universe is that it doesn’t expect us nor place pressure on us to be extraordinary;

it simply hopes that we are decent human beings.

That we do good.

That we respect upstanding values.

That we serve people and aim to bring them closer together rather than further apart. 

That we spread joy

and carry light. 

Extraordinary will always be extraordinary; something to strive for; there’s no question about that in my book. 

But, the world doesn’t need us to be superhuman. It simply hopes that we are decent human beings. It needs us to be decent human beings. That’s a beautiful responsibility to uphold; a beautiful way to live. The Universe knows this; so, we need to believe that the beauty in being decent will always transcend that of physical appearance; decent is, divinely B E A U T I F U L.

So much so, it feels beautiful.
