Fresh Brave Wings

Unpredictable life events (what can also feel earth-shattering at the time) come to wake us, others to shake us, and sometimes solely to break us—open. 

Often they are physical signs from God saying, “Stop! This is not your path so I’m moving you and giving you the grace to start anew, IF you so choose.” Our choice. Our path. Our work. Our revival.

Starting over is not a punishment. It is God’s reward for braving to do so. It is the universe saying, “I believe in a better you and a bigger you, it’s time that you do too. Ready. Set. Expand.”

The power of life-altering events resides in our willingness to accept the dare of the storm and embrace the space for expansion. It is bearing the growing pains to feel the freedom and the harmony when we are living in our truth.  It is mining our deepest fears and insecurities to discover the root of our potential and the seed of our uniqueness. It is walking (sometimes crawling) through the darkness until we emerge into our light again. It is remaining open to absorb the lessons as they come, trusting in the wisdom they leave behind.

The power of life-altering events is in the growth; it is always in the growth. 

Starting over is not a punishment; it is a reward. 🦅
