Hills
There isn’t much in this life that waits for us, not even time.
But Hills,
They wait.
Their work waits for us. To climb. To summit. To descend. When we start, and if we break; hills stop and wait with us; they never leave us alone, until our work is done.
Hills, they don’t punish us; they reward us with fortitude. They build our bodies strong, our minds stronger.
I’ve always had a fond relationship with hills; they’re my gains.
💭 What are—your gains?
And I’m not talking straight muscle here; I’m talking about mental stamina, fortitude. Where do you create it? Where do you find it? When do you call upon it? Where does your work meet your reward simultaneously in your life—?
⛰ for me, one example, is undoubtedly right here on the HILL.
I know my gains, but what matters most is that you know yours.
