Love is our Superpower

We are introduced to a wide spectrum of superheroes at a very early age; from there we learn to idolize and play-pretend (how could we not?) with their supernatural powers, including super-physical strength, super-breath, super-speed, flight, combat skills, super-human agility, x-ray vision, magic weaponry, melting metal and rock, invisibility, telepathy, and the list goes on…

But you know what one superpower I couldn’t find listed as a number one within any of the superheroes? A superpower that tops them all, that wins out every-time; the one that has more strength, more magic, more goodness, more every-power than ever characterized, imagined, and admired….— and, it’s the only infinite superpower in heaven and on earth? 

L O V E. 

And you know what’s even cooler than knowing that I couldn’t find one superhero character with this mighty superpower as their leading charge? 

It’s because, . . . You’re the superhero. 

We are the superheroes, and our superpower is LOVE. 

We win when we use it. Every-time. 

We’re stronger, wiser, healthier, happier, more beautiful, we’re everything better when it’s on. 

We can literally change the World with it.

So, go use it. Go be it. Pour it out always and trust that it will never leave you empty, it will always fill you full again and again; that is the superpower love is.
